Ellie - Jersey Cow
Ellie is our Jersey heifer, purchased in spring 2020. She may have been a spur-of-the-moment auction purchase but it was a great decision. She is a giant sweetheart, despite the fact that she sometimes likes to try and jump on us to play. We are hoping she is actually bred by our Zebu bull now so that we can start using her for milk production for our family. We may decided to offer milk products going into the future as well.
Eeyore
Eeyore is our mini donkey. He is about 30 inches tall and such a sweet boy. We took him in as a rescue April of 2026. He was massively overweight and his hooves hadn’t seen a farrier in a long long time. As of August 2026 he has done well on his diet and is loosing the extra pounds and he has had 3 farrier visits and his walking gait is much improved. We are continuing to work on socialization, not being fearful of the halter and lead, and walking well on the lead.
